About 6 guys have a chance to win this thing imo.

Tiger
Rory
Phil
Lee
Stricker, I guess
Rose

Everybody else is there for the scenery

I would definitely give Hunter Mahan, Luke Donald and Keegan Bradley all a very good chance to win this week. All 3 have been playing well this year. I am very curious to see how Bradley does in his first try at Augusta. This guy is fearless and has the length and the game to win here. Others I wouldn't count out are K.J. Choi, Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson, Adam Scott, and Angel Cabrera just to name a few. Im not saying all these guys have as good a chance as the bunch you mention, but to say they are there for the scenery is being a bit harsh...

tiger is a draw guy, but as of late, off the tee, he has been fading his drives( with great accuracy). i dint know if he will be able to control a big draw off the tee, and a shit load of holes at augusta are setup for a righty draw tee shot...

Yea, he has been fading them a very little bit, and amazingly even though he is fading them he is hitting them just as long and like you said more accurately. The tee ball at Augusta is prob the least important shot, just not a whole lot of trouble and can get it out of the trees easily. If tiger finds the fairways at augusta, that would be knew for him.

That little stinger 3 iron tiger has been hitting off the tee is a pretty nice ball, draws and gets a ton of roll. Prob doesn't get 50 ft off the ground at its peak but he was knocking it by gmacs 3 wood at bay hill

Bill Haas is another longshot I wouldn't discount. He beat a pretty good field a few weeks back. Including Stricter in that playoff.. And I like betting on players in the Masters who have won earlier in the season. Whether it be in Europe or the U.S.

Harsh but true IF rory and tiger bring their best game. Adam Scott is legit contender if he shows up. The rest of the guys won't be able to handle the pressure of rory, tiger, phil and lee chasing them or just don't have the game with the way the 4 I mentioned are playing....just my opinion, GL on your plays. Imo, the only thing certain about this masters is that tiger, rory, westwood or Phil will be wearing green sunday

Tiger's odds are around 7/2, which is a horrible bet. Look for this to be won by a first-time major winner.

Going with Johnson Wagner for my long shot at 235-1. He played the Masters once in 2008 and finished 34th. Right now he is 2nd in Fed Ex Points,4th on the money list and First in Total Birdies and Eagles. Saw an article about the Top 5 players who reach the Green in Under Regulation as far as shots go and he was 5th. Behind Tiger,Rory,Stricker and Mickelson. With those odds I can't pass him up.. Will also put some dollars on Tiger..

Snedeker has the type of game that if he is on the first page of the leaderboard on the last day he can be very dangerous. Fast playing players like this don't usually wilt under pressure since they don't stand over the ball long. Olazabel and Nick Price come to mind as good quick playing players who have won multiple majors each.

By the way did anybody see IK Kim miss this one foot putt to blow her first major win? That was just sick. Too bad she wasn't playing with my golfing group. Any putt in the leather of the grip (of my driver) is considered a gimme...Ha ha

Yea, took my daughter to Disney on ice yesterday and got home just in time to watch last 3 holes she played. That was brutal, really felt bad for the girl, pretty good looking too. Hell, that putt would have been good within a really short putters leather, lol.

How hard would it be on short notice to get tickets for Sat/Sunday on short notice.
I have never been there. I have some spare time this week would love to make the trip if the price isn't insane.
Have any of you been to the Masters before?

Taylor, I play in a pool where points are given to players and you have a certain number of points to use. Best 3 aggregate scores wins the pool. Pool normally draws over $10,000 with winner getting over $,5000. I will post player point values in next post, and you pick a team for me to play and we will see how it does. I will play the team and if it wins anything I will give you a percentage of winnings. I can even give you the site where pool is so you can check it out for yourself. Guy has been running this for years and expects over 600 entries this year at $20 per entry. you can have part of a free entry if you want it to see how good you can do in the pool...

I'm pretty close to 100% that I'm going to take Westwood as one of my two choices. As I said before, this past few months he has gotten himself in the best shape of his life. And unlike most other world class golfers, he doesn't play a whole lot of tournaments. I have a feeling that this is the one that he's seriously been pointing towards.
