The rules are simple:
1. Each day both contestants will have five "that days round only" match-ups to handicap and make a selection in each one using a 5 cent line. The match-ups will include juice so each winner and loser will be graded accordingly.
2. The object is to amass the most contest money based on $100 per match-up bet.
Example of a matchup will look like this:
Padraig Harrington -105
Jim Furyk -105
Henrik Stenson -125
David Toms +115
I will try to post the matchups as soon as I have lines and will be very aware of tee times so that both cappers have a chance to get their picks in on time. A late pick will be considered a loss. Ties will be considered wins for both cappers.
3. A tiebreaker will be posted along with Thursday's Match-ups. I will give each capper five players with no juice. Each capper will select one of their five options as their pick to finish higher than the pick of the other capper.
The tiebreaker will only come into play if both players have the exact amount of units won (or lost) at the end of the tournament. If the tiebreaker ties then the player picked as the tiebreaker player with the low round during the tournament wins over his opponent (longshot to happen).
The winner besides bragging rites wins a free 60 day subscription to The SportsOptions Lines Service. They can award the subscription to a friend if they already use the product or are not currently in need of the service. The winner can also wait until football and claim the service then if he chooses..
IMPORTANT NOTE: NO PERSONAL EDITS ALLOWED -- If you need an edit made before the contest deadline you can email me at person19481950@yahoo.com. I will make edits if they are appropriate and before the earliest tee time of any group among that days matchups.
Best of luck to both Railbird and Viejo Dinosaur in what should be a fun match-up.
NOTE: all side bet are strictly the business of the parties involved and are not guaranteed by The Rx.com..
I would appreciate it if posters interested in following the match use the pinned discussion thread to post comments, encouragement and other remarks so that the main picks thread does not get all cluttered.
Thanks wil..
