Props to those in the Bay state for declining primary seat belt enforcement. Apparently this was a done deal by the Senate but in the last minute the House voted 76-74 to kill it. Gov. Romney can not be happy about this.

Supporters of the primary seat belt law claim it would dramatically reduce driving fatalities. All the while, they ignore the fact that Mass. has the lowest fatality rate in the nation, without the "benefit" of a primary seat belt law.

The day we grant power to Big Brother to punish us for not protecting ourselves, from ourselves, is the day we put another dagger in the life of freedom.
