You'd almost think that the Repubs would be able to help sway the gay voters or the pro-whogivesashit voters by officially and publicly acting like regular people do, instead of trying to hide her from sight. What crap.

Mary Cheney wasn't "kept" from the stage. She chose not to go down there, just like she chose in 2000 to visit the stage. From a story in 2000:
