He is living up to it. He gives them their silly interviews now. There are enough loquacious guy like Sherman who love to talk to the media. If someone doesn't, he shouldn't be required to. But since the NFL insists, Marshawn is giving them what they want, in his own special way. I hope if the NFL tries to fine him, the NFLPA hauls their asses to Court.

Players – Players must be available to the media following every game and regularly during the practice week as required under league rules and their contracts and as noted above. It is not permissible for any player or any group of players to boycott the media. Star players, or other players with unusually heavy media demands, must be available to the media that regularly cover their teams at least once during the practice week in addition to their required post-game media availability. This applies to a maximum of one or two players per team only. The minimum for such players does not include other required media obligations such as visiting team conference calls, network production meetings, and national media interviews arranged by the team.
All NFL players, upon request of their club public relations director, are required to participate in weekly conference calls with the media from the opposing team’s city. While a player is encouraged to be available for this call every time he is requested by his club public relations director, no player is required to do more than five such opposing team/media conference calls each regular season. No player, however, can refuse to participate in the weekly media conference call during the playoffs.
I understand what is written there but he is not living up to the spirit of the contract. He would be living up to the letter of that part of the contract you cited if he wore a hat that read F You and didn't speak even one word, but not the spirit. I'm not sure how much of a slam dunk legally it would be for him.
Yeah I mean, I GUESS he should do the full interview but who really cares. I don't see how anyone is missing out if they don't get to hear their teams RB say "Well we got the running game going like coach said we wanted to do in practice all week, when you do that it sets up playaction and makes ____ (insert team QB) job easier"

I hear ya. I have no desire to listen to him before or after a game, but somebody does. If not then they wouldn't be forcing these guys to do it.
The larger point I am making isn't whether the players should or shouldn't be forced to speak, rather that if they sign a contract worth (in most cases) millions of dollars, then live up to it. Don't pick and choose after the checks are being cashed which parts of the contract will be honored and which parts won't.
