Marshawn Lynch: I didn’t save all my NFL money.

Contrary to popular belief, former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch didn’t save all of his NFL salary money, he admitted in a joint 60 Minutes Sports/Sports Illustrated segment.

When confronted with rumors that he had never cashed a game check during his NFL career, Lynch set the record straight.

“That’s false,” Lynch said. “I’m human. I’m very much human. If you pinch me, that hurts. I make mistakes, [but] I’ve also made some good decisions. But why would you wanna pocket-watch me?”
Lynch, an NFL star who had attempted to maintain his privacy, confirmed his retirement from the league in the interview. He spent nine seasons in the NFL and was a five-time Pro Bowl selection during his career.
