She's made out pretty good with the gambling $$$ through the years but who knows maybe it did have an effect. I might be stupid but I believe that there is no one else. She has felt this way for along time and just doesn't want to be married. If she is lying and she has interest in someone else at this point I don't really care. It's over and I am moving on. I have not exactly been an angel either. It is what it is. We talked and came up with an agreement on how to split everything up and now we just have to file the papers. It's going as good as can be expected. Looking back through the years I wish I had done a few thinks differently but I think we just grew apart.
Why are you listening to these idiots? Most of the guys have slept with less than 10 females and are boringly married. You know your wife - if you don't think she was cheating on you the chances are she wasn't - seems like she's just real bored and would rather be alone and take her chances of possibly finding a relationship that is exciting.

We spoke last evening and now that the initial shock has worn off her and I are ready to move on and will remain close. We are parting on good terms and have split everything 50/50 with no lawyers involved. In 20 years my wife has always been there for me and she said she will always be there for me. We just grew apart and decided that this split will be best for both of us. People change as we both admitted we have and sometimes it's just better just to move on. Have I always been a perfect husband?? I'll be the first to say no I have not. We were an awesome team together on most things but our interests in life now are different. I have and always will have the upmost respect for her and I wish her the best. I could feel this coming for the last few years but I was scared of life without her. I'm 48 and still would love to meet someone and start a new life. She is an awesome Mom and has always taken care of us. Before I even think of a new relationship I must first work on me being a better person. Later boys!!
Hadn't been on here much lately. Sorry dude you went through it to. The kids are the most importand and just keep your relationship strong with them.Mine left over two months ago and i still feel like it was yesterday. When i think back at some of the things i said i should have been shot. Nothing really bad, just stuff to hurt her feelings.I would have felt better , no i wouldn';t i lied if she had somone else.I had a private detective watch her for a week and he said she didn't leave the townhouse for over a week except to walk the dogs three times a day. He said he heard her crying constantly and that really didn't make my day. i paid him off and got off my medicine and now i know she isn't coming back. She said it was a great 25 years but we just grew way apart. It is tough when you don't want it and i can't say she ever said anything bad to me or did anything i should be mad over. Ihad the best and just totally screwed up, but i'm getting on.
