Richt didn't waste any time and immediately got on the recruiting trail for his new team. Miami
now has the 21st rated class (Rivals) and Richt is trying to improve on that ranking. Jack Allison,
the sixth rated pro-style QB has committed. Richt would like to add to that by convincing Georgia
recruit Jacob Eason (#1 rated QB) to follow him to Miami.

Eason had committed to Georgia before Richt was fired. Last week he visited Florida and has
indicated he will visit Miami soon. One of those three schools will be getting one hell of a prospect.

Interesting note: The two top rated dual-threat quarterbacks have committed to the state of South
Carolina. Four star Zerrick Cooper to Clemson and four star Brandon McIlwain to the Gamecocks.

Getting dumped by Georgia has lit a fire under Richt's ass and it will be interesting watching how
Miami develops over the next few seasons.

Very interesting information Clover; No doubt about it, Richt is highly motivated and Miami historically always had a lot to offer to young recruits, especially QB's

Yeah Mack, he's serious. He recently told a radio station he would contact Georgia recruits
he had a close relationship with. It looks like he just turned a North Carolina commit to the
Canes.

Miami has a good QB for Richt to start with. Junior to be Brad Kaaya has passed for over
6000 yards (3,020 this season) his first two years.

Richt understands how important recruiting is his first cycle toward Miami success.

great to know Miami has a great future in store and has a shot at being in the top 10 like years past. Maybe not now but in 2 to 3 years.

Richt must have Kirby worried about QB Jacob Eason's commitment to the Dawgs. He
flew cross country to Washington state to visit with Eason and his family on Monday.

This will be fun to watch develop. Georgia needs a quarterback. Florida needs a quarterback.
Miami not so much.

Lol. I challenge anyone to find any reputable recruiting service that has either guy rated above jarrett guarantano among others. Those qbs are decent, not elite...

Just blatant misinformation here

All this means is that he will f*ck up the season on a game / clock strategy situation with better players.

I am very tapped in to the U. With the young talent already There and the staff Richt is putting together I would not at all be surprised to see them in the top 10 next year. Golden left a lot of groceries in the cupboard but he did not have that team game ready. It showed week in week out this year. With the talented staff Richt will put together, watch how fast the U climbs the ladder the next two years.
