I started watching baseball in 1986 and I love mattingly. I was 4 or 5 and liked him because " he throws like me" (Im left-handed) Little did I know that he was by far their best player and withing a few years would be on a team of Steve Balbonis and Hensly Muelens types of trash.
However, objectively speaking he is not a hall of famer and neither is grace.
