Maybe Cuban has a point, Nelson's Warriors dominated Dallas in 2006-07....Dallas lost 19 games this past season (including playoffs) over 1/3 of all their losses were to the Warriors.
After Don Nelson filed a $6.5 million suit against Mark Cuban to get deferred compensation, Cuban countersued, saying the Warriors had inside information when they beat the Mavericks in the playoffs.
"Don may know that (Dirk) Nowitzki likes to turn toward his left shoulder not his right shoulder, but we don't think that's a trade secret or confidential information," Nelson's attorney, John O'Connor, said Friday. "Cuban apparently does."
Cuban also contends that Nelson violated a noncompete clause in his Dallas contract when he took the job with the Warriors last summer. This whole ordeal would make more sense if it was happening in Atlanta or L.A., but it's obvious that Cuban and Nellie's once strong relationship has been damaged beyond repair. "Don is a bit embarrassed he is part of this, and that people might think this was his idea," O'Connor said
