Milwaukee Brewers -157
First thing first, Ted Lilly has nasty stuff - I do not care what his ERA is this year, he can dominate a baseball game.
Second point - so can Randy Wolf - In fact, he has been nothing but stellar this year and has that veteran presence the Brewers staff needs.
SLG % for Brewers vs LHP is 5th in the National league, while the Dodgers do not hit lefties well traditionally. Wolf works good hitters and doesn't give them much ... he may scatter a run or two tonight.
Dodgers have a potentially dangerous lineup, Juan Rivera in LF is someone to watch out for. The Brewers are sitting Morgan (which is good, since he can pinch run if it's close and late), LuCroy ... which is preferred since Wolf pitched a masterpiece last time out with Kottoras catching, and lastly Lopez will not start ... which means a defensive upgrade for the Brewers in Wilson.
The Dodgers have been playing decent of late, but that was mainly against glorified Triple-A starters - Wolf is a whole different story. Brewers can be shut-down offensively, but they are scrappy and I expect them to win this game in close and late situation.
Brewers only have Loe, Hawkins, and Rodriguez out of the bullpen tonight as Axford and Saito were worked hard in the Pirates series.
Brewers 15-3 when ML is -150 to -175 (damn good compared to most other favorites) // Dodgers a solid 4-7 as dogs in this range.
MLB Record, 2011 Season 5-1 (+4.00 units)
