Doug, in a correct exchange environment to make that transaction you should need to have 1k in the account.(Meaning, your exposure never goes over 1k). If that is the case, and they do offset it(put the 1k back into your account after you've layed 1.7), then it is outrageous if you get charged 10$. I'm really sorry my Mansion account is nil at the moment, I'd have done some dummy transactions just to try it.

SportSavant, yes, in a nuttshell, that is the 1 million $ question, I illustrated it as a scalp, because that way you're CERTAIN you'll pay equal comission in both case, but from what I've read so far I'm still at loss concerning how much would that be???:icon_conf

People will give reports tomorrow. I played some today, but not both sides of same game. I expect it to work as I stated.

Not tested that one personally..

Outrageous prices on the late games tonight however. I shall be pulling money out as it's no longer an automatic choice..

It'll take awhile for things to get back to "normal" so expect poorer prices for awhile. I found better than Pinny prices on a few of my bets , even taking 1% off of win amount.

I dunno Santo,

tonite,

I placed 8 bets or so, & IN EVERY SINGLE CASE.... I got a better line than Pinny, I was the seller in each case, so ZERO commission

Doug, not trying to be too pessimist, but as far as I'm concerned, the "bettor" doesn't like to offer a price(of course, there are educated people, but not the masses). He likes to take one.
The trader or the bookie is willing to offer. With the current level of Mansion's software & liquidity, I dare say they're not attractive to either of those categories. I wouldn't be so sure that things will really take off at all. I wish Mansion all the good luck as another player on the exchange market is badly needed, but I don't see them as feeling that position.
God, I wish Tradesports would come with a decent software one of those days.

Sure, I should have said pull some out. I had around half my total in there previously. But about 2.45 when I wanted to get on a couple of late games, they were well off Matchbook, Pinnacle and even in one case CanBet prices.. So I'll keep my funds a little more liquid and deposit more if I need it for a bet.

Hush Zee.. or I'll forward that list on the BF Forums to Sky at 9am tomorrow ;-)

Re Tradesports, I must have complained 20+ times at their inability to fix a simple javascript error that stops it working in Firefox. I'd have fixed it myself for a couple hundred quid!

but what other players are there for the USA market in terms of exchanges?

betfair = NO USA

so we are ledt with Tradebetx & matchbook?

I respectfully disagree, I see Mansion as being able to fulfill the "Niche" market available to the USA betting market.

I won't be counting on that. They stil have not given me an aswer about the sportsbook. They say not to worry, they should have an answer within 24 hours. They sure know what they're doing!:icon_conf
