I remember ly at this time everyone was talking about the Garciaparra deal that it was going to fall through and at last minute, got done on the 4 way team deal. If you want a sleeper to pick up Manny, try STL and Jocketty. Cards need rh bat more than lh, will have plenty of payroll dropping off after this year with money to spend at the deadline. It would require a 3rd or 4th team but wouldn't surprise me as Jocketty makes the big trades on players no one is reporting he is talking about though I saw a tidbit on Manny to Stl in post dispatch.

And I am thinking of how outspoken David Ortiz was of being his friend and the importance of keeping him as a team mate. I just dont know what kind of message that sends.

This is really an awful season as a sox fan. I cant wait until its over and done with, to be completely honest. One of the least memorable in years and years to me.

I'm watching the Met game and Cameron is playing and Floyd is sitting because a lefty is pitching.

Floyd rarely sits against lefty though he bats lefty to let you know. Everyday player in the truest sense. But thanks for info as I am not watching games right now.
