MANNY RAMIREZ averages 145 RBI from 1998-2000 and this year is a legit TRIPLE CROWN contender...AND.

lander,

Exactly right. He is a beast at the plate, but when it comes to situational plays, he is scary bad. Will be interesting to see how he does this postseason.

Pardon my memory if it wasnt him......

wasnt he like ummmm...put on like, ummm waivers or something and no one picked him up so the Red Sox had no choice but to play him this year?

Ummm, does that mean the hundreds of guys in charge of MLB teams know nothing or "very little" about the game of baseball?

Ummm. no.

If it wasnt him please disregard everything I said...

slim, money. . .placed on waivers because of money, no one picks him up becuase of money. manny, not a-rod is the highest paid player in baseball this year. if you gave stiengrabber another chance to think about it, im sure manny would be yank right now.

i'd have to think he will go down as one of top 5 or 6 right handed hitters of all time.

along with

aaron, mays, dimaggio and probably a-rod when its all said and done.

i'm sure their are a few old timers i'm leaving out.

i wonder how many balls he hits off the upper half of that wall that would carry out of some other parks for home runs.

some one else that without injury will put up some monster numbers from the right side is
vladamir guerrero. nobody hits it harder.

i must say , i have mlb ticket on direct tv and watch red sox games solely to watch manny hit.
