weed, beer and percs prices are all bargains. 20 years ago weed was $40-$50 for a quarter of top end commercial. the price is still the same and the weed is better. The skunk weed costs $100- $120 a quarter. it was $80 back then. A 12 pack of Michelob Bottles was 5 bucks, now its 9, but we were making 10 bucks an hour instead of 29. percs have been 5 bucks forever 6 if they're the duupie duupie duze.
Regular gas was anywhere from 25 to 29 cents a gallon in my late teens. I remember buying cigaretts for my mother for 25 cents a pack in my early teeens and even cheaper as a preteen.
I can recall as a kid going to a double feature matinee on a Saturday afteroon at either of the two movie houses in my home town for a dime. That included a cartoon and previews of coming attractions plus usually a western and a horror movie. For a quarter you could buy your ticket, a box of popcorn, a soft drink and some candy.
Weed was unheard of back then where I lived. Something that changed after I came home from serving in the Armed Forces overseas and had turned into a 20 plus year old.
