A 23-year-old man at Fenway Park was caught trying to steal Red Sox slugger Mike Napoli’s glove after Boston beat Detroit in Game 6 of the ALCS to advance to the World Series, authorities told The Boston Globe.

According to the report, officers responded to Yawkey Way around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday morning and found Thomas Robbins inside the Red Sox clubhouse. As he began to flee, he dropped Napoli’s mitt and eventually was caught by security in the players parking lot.

“It was valued at $450 for purposes of the case, but a perfectly worn mitt is priceless,” Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said. “We’re glad Mike got it back and won’t have to worry about it [Wednesday] night.”

Robbins, who was carrying Red Sox and Major League Baseball press box passes, was arraigned Monday on charges of attempting to commit a crime and trespassing and he was ordered to stay away from Fenway Park pending the outcome of his case.

Glad they caught him.
Would have sucked for Napoli to play with a different glove. I've heard these guys sleep with those things like kids do.
