Malone AND Payton to the Lakers?! Please dont stoop to that level Mailman!

I see no gratification for Malone or Payton to play with the Lakers. I know they both want a ring before they retire, but when a team wins championships without you, such as the case with the Spurs and J.Kidd, I see no satisfaction of going to a team that has won a championship previously without you. Go to a team you feel you can make a huge difference and help bring them a title that they havent ever had or had in a long while.

Id hate to see Malone resort the "If you can't beat'em, join'em" saying. Habsman, I hate the Lakers, but I have to take Rick Fox's side on that one up above, Doug Christie always seems to act like a prick.

These two players will not help the Lakers especially Payton, the guy is too old and young guys will blow right by him, This is a sport where youth is critical and they will be worse with him.
