If a guy came into your house with an assault rifle and fired off 60 rounds, first you'd shit your pants and second you'd jump out the window.

60 rounds, no chance to get out the window... thats why canada tends not to have those kind of killings, just the creepier serial guy in BC. ergh. so sorry for those that were hurt though.

Both Dude and Dylanger have a point. Maybe the sensationalism of each of these incidents does actually do more harm than good, but those that are going to do, don't really need a reason. Fucked up people do this, and we can't always say why they do it.

He was killed at the scene I believe - reports are he was wearing a hockey mask.

Found out later last night that my brother, his wife, and 2 small kids were in line outside of Macys to see Santa when the shots rang out pretty close by.. They litterly had to pick kids up and run... He ended up on the local news....Pretty terrifying experience.. My sister in law is pretty shook up over it....

Crazy - glad they're okay.

I'm in FL this week, and luckily it doesn't seem like anyone I know in Portland was around that mall at the time.
