i agree
ok you're right i dont like arodHow is it not A-Rod? Everyone put their dislike for the guy to the side.
He has more career HR's than Manny and he's 32 years old. Manny is 36. In four years A-Rod will have around 700 home runs. At the same age he'll have 200 more homer's than Manny.
By the time it's all said and done A-Rod will hold the RBI and HR records and he'll have around 3500-3800 hits. That is absolutely amazing. He might have as many MVP's as well.
Manny wasn't a better hitter than Frank Thomas in Frank's prime and he isn't a better hitter than A-Rod. He is top 5 of the last 25 years but number 1? I disagree but it's just my opinion.
id lay -168 for small ........good price i think you put upGoing on career numbers, AROD will fare better than Manny by the fact he started his career earlier, but this cannot be held against AROD, he earned that right.
Having said that, and this has been debated numerous times here already, I believe Manny to be the better overall hitter, both in terms of power and average. If not mistaken, Mannys batting average is about 15 pts higher than Arods and he also has a better HR ratio per at-bat. Needless to say, Manny has also been proven to be a better clutch hitter over his career, most noticablly in the postseason. In terms of just hitting, Manny is the better hitter in my opinion, by a narrow margin. In 2-3 years, if he continues on his current pace, I will give the nod to Pujols for being a better righthanded than both Arod and Manny..........all three are obviously three of the best that have ever hit a baseball from the right side.
However, my only inquiry in this thread is simply who will finish with the most career homers between Manny and JR, or more specifically, what you would make the line on this prop.

Manny has a higher career average, OBP, walks, RBI, doubles, OPS+ and slugging %, there is more to a great hitter than hitting bombs. All of that is in only 63 more career games. Arod has hit .320+ twice, Ramirez 6 times. Having said that, Poo Holes is probably better than both and the best of the lot.
