Hello guys!

I’m 46 years old and I live in California, San Francisco. I deal with betting more than 25 years. And all these years I’ve tried sites, systems, blogs, trading, ''fixed'', facebook tipsters, forums! All the possible ways to make money from betting! But nothing! I always lose money… I am not waiting to be rich of this… I just want a low, but steady, monthly income…
Is it possible to make a steady income from betting? Or is this a myth?

As I said, I’m member in a lot of forums (especially in these who deal with soccer, nfl & nba) and I wrote this thread almost at the majority of them. Is the only way to take reliable & worthy answers to my query! What do you think guys? Can we win the bookies?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts (and better your experiences)… @)

myth

when I was young I actually believed that, thought I could supplement my income

the reality for me is I lose more often than I win (except for setback), but when I win I often times win really big. Not the type of stuff that helps one secure "extra income".

for me, gambling is a hobby or a temporary escape or a craved rush, but I never look at it as "income" anymore.

I guess there are exceptions, but a lot fewer than people want you to think

Yeah, definitely myth, there might be a handful of people in the world that can do it but 99.9% never will. There will be high times when you feel like you cant lose but believe me you always pay it back with interest eventually

A very small percentage win each year. Some guys are going to come in this thread and claim they bought their house with their winnings, drive brand new cars and only bang 10's while dirty bulking. 99.9% of them are full of it.

The Wynn looks like it does for a reason.

Well, I did buy Two Condo's in 14 years apart because of Gambling. The difference between Myself and the "Someone' coming in and "Saying it " is, #1 is as you see ,one was 14 years ago, and the other was last year. One was done on the OTHER side of the counter, and the other was on this side of the counter.

But My point is, You CAN win... but you CAN'T win all the time. Even Sharps/Smarts or whatever you want to call them, Don't Win all the time.

Gambling is streaky .... if you can get on a run of some kind and are discipline ... you can make Money ( Just Not all the time )
and it doesn't matter if you bet $25 a game or $5,000 a game

Pick and choose what you wager on, Don't wager because the game is on TV... Don't bet on your Favorite team, unless you really think they can Win. Look for Value... Line Off ?? Line moving without reason ? Key Player/Players Out ... Don't Bet in the Blind... Don't Follow someone in the Blind... and DON'T Chase !! There's Always Tomorrow !

I have had Winning and Losing Weeks, Months and Years

My advice is Pick a Sport, One Sport is best... Learn it, study it.... Know it. Time is the Key... Not a Large bankroll. Start out small, see where you make mistake, and Why.
You won't get Rich Gambling... but in time you can make a profit..

My 2 cents

How could someone lose if they martingale an NFL team? They all cover at least 1 out of 5 weeks....Especially if you are smart about it and take a low value middle of the tier team with a decent qb.

My problem is I get greedy. I was fading the astros like crazy playing run line to avoid the high juice but then lost it on other shit. I remember looking at their entire schedule and realizing they never went 4 games in a row without losing by at least by 2 runs

Yep.. took me almost 20 years to figure this out. When I first started to Gamble ( at a very young age ) I was All over the place.
Then met a guy that taught me discipline ... Started out with NFL learning it, and that was it for years. Then went to NCAABB, which is the hardest because of how many games they play.
Means that you have to give a lot of Time into it. Also did NCAAFB, which I really wait until the end of the Season, and into more of the Bowl games.
I found it Very hard to Cap both at the same time ( NFL & College Foots ) and then comes College Hoops, which I will gamble on Early in the season, then drop it for NFL Playoffs, but pick it back up after the NFL Playoffs.

I Don't even touch NBA, but do Glance at the lines to see if I like something ( that's where I lose some discipline ) But I quickly Stop myself so I can work on College Hoops.

anyway... So for me... I will work on NFL, the back end of College Football, Beginning & 2nd half of College Hoops Including March Madness... and after that I'm done.
I like to play around with MLB, but I just can't found the time to really Cap it.

But like I said before, I started with NFL ... and at the beginning That's all I played... You need to learn it and Know it before you can move on to the next sport.
also, you might never move to another sport.... You need Time on your hands to do this.

another point I would like to make is, You do NOT have to bet Everyday .... and if you are on a losing streak .. Nothing wrong with taking a couple of days off.
Also, Reduced Juice is nice.... Try to find it, it's out there.

Bankroll size??

example
20K Bankroll
700 plays per year
400-300 record (57.14% winners)
(-110) average betting line
2% on each wager or ($400 per)
Clears 28K per year

those are my numbers

doesnt make you rich but its a realistic goal for me.. i only play 2% on each, so i do not sweat going broke and my programs can attain those win percentages over the long run..

Good Luck

Does BAS post plays? You should if you don't; you know being Big man on campus and great.

Like I said before, I will win some and lose some just like everyone else.
i also don't post 100000000000 unit plays, locks or crap like that.

ill have to look to find it, but had a very good ncaabb tournament last year... 68 or 70 % somewhere like that.

Yeah, I'm not talking on the other side of the counter as we all know they win. I'm talking this side only.

You bought a condo in cash strictly with winnings from your winning wagers? If you did, you are the 1%. This forum is full of guys who claim to be professionals and high rollers. We all know most of that is nothing but hot air.
