This big "issue' is pretty much a nonissue Tin. Anyone with a clue already knows Rio is absolutely fine. Now I don't begrudge anyone the right to take advantage of it for the hell of it, why not if it's free? But to haggle over the fine details is just a waste of time. It's like buying insurance in case you get hit by an asteroid while visiting Disneyland. Let me get this straight, if I am on Dumbo when the asteroid hits me it is double pay out? Send Ken an e-mail (copy to Angelle) when you deposit but no need for widespread panic out here. Rio is about as safe as they come and you will have no problems with your money.

Irish- The whole thing is Pinnacle isn't aware of the deal. If Shrink/Krackman have a bad week at Pinnacle then there's no money there. Shrink should have just said that he will personally guarantee the money and not have brought Pinnacle in at all. If Pinnacle guarantees the money then I'd post up with Rio to get the 1/2 point along with many others. Why would Pinnacle do this as it takes away business?

Easy there Patty.....I'm sure your bent out of shape over the TB game.

Regardless, just look at what you are saying. Maybe you are convinced that Rio is as solid as they come-that's fine. Others think otherwise.

The details of Ken's Pinnacle deal are VERY important to people. Is it too f'ing much to ask to know whether or not their funds are OFFICIALLY guaranteed by Pinnacle?

You have to be f'ing kidding yourself if you don't think that there is any difference.

Reread what you wrote.....

Passenger: Is this ship safe?

Captain: Absolutely safe and unsinkable.

Passenger: I don't see enough lifeboats.

Captain: Lifeboats? Why haggle over such minute details as lifeboats? Don't you know this is the Titanic?

hehe pretty good modigitz.

If shrink wants to gurantee rio, the money shouldnt be in his betting account. It should be in a seperate account that is not touched, just like other have said. What if Shrink wipes out his betting account, then what? We will never know about it. And what if Rio goes down the same time. Then what? Put the money in a seperate account that wont be touched, and that would be great for the players.

No Tin I had the under sir, was pretty happy with the game actually. Even had it in each quarter, 3 of 4 quarters wasn't too bad.

As far as Pinnacle and all that I would suggest you be patient guys. It's Thanksgiving week-end and Ken is out of town and posting on a very limited basis. I am sure the books have had their hands full as well. Shrink will be back late Monday night, maybe Tuesday would be a good time to start filling in the blanks. Just give it a chance, that's all. It's weird because every time someone goes the extra mile to help us players it seems some take a tone to ridicule or find loopholes in it before it ever gets going. If it was me and it was met with so much negativity I'd ask myself why bother? I'm not saying you guys right here but I have seen it over and over, a new idea that could help is met with distrust and bickering before it even has a chance. Try and relax while the details are worked out guys, don't discourage anyone from going the extra mile. If anything let's encourage it when we can.

Perhaps it might be more prudent to have all the pieces in place prior to such a blockbuster announcement. All too often it seems things go "Ready, Fire, Aim!!"

Are there any updates on this situation? Is Shrink keeping money in escrow at Pinnacle or is it his word that he'll pay if Rio doesn't pay?
