Orlando Magic's Tracy McGrady was traded to the Houston Rockets in a multiplayer deal that sent Steve Francis to the Magic, Tuesday. The deal also sent forward Juwan Howard, and guards Tyronn Lue and Reece Gaines to the Rockets. The Magic also got guard Cuttino Mobley and forward Kelvin Cato. All are shown in these 2004 hand out photos.

Francis is way over-rated, Mobley just fires up 3's and Cato is a complete waste of size, he's as lazy as they get. Rockets are making out unloading these average players.

Hache Man, your team got jobbed and robbed, as this former H-towner can attest, Francis is overrated, Mobley inconsistent but dangerous, and Cato a mere backup.

Now do the Rockets want to build slowly, or move Yao to LA for 3 to 4 years usage of Shaq?

Don't laugh, I know it sounds shortsighted, as Yao has played Shaq straight-up sometimes, but he isn't as dominant, and is yet one of the few Centers that could land Shaq in a fairly even player deal.

Orlando Magic is still a mess after this move, just a different batch of fleas now.

Someone please unstaple Juwan Howard from the hardwood, his hips seem stuck.

Rockets but a Yao move for Shaq and some guard play from contention.

P.S. Yes WA, Houstonians have long been over with the honeymoon phase of "Stevie Franchise"

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

As a Houstonian and a rocket fan, it sucked to watch the inability of Francis to become that Franchise player that he was tagged w/...just an overated ball hog..

I would not part with Yao. Yao could dominate for the next ten years. Shaq could be finished in 3 years.

Max,
I agree Yao's the real deal. I expect him to break out next year in a big way.

The Rockets will have their first 20/20 avg scorers next year in Yao and Mcgrady. Look for Yao to have his best season yet. This hasn't happened since the Hakeem/Clyde years. Yao for Shaq? Or you kiddin' or what? The Rockets would'nt trade Yao to save the universe. He will probably be the best center in the NBA when Shaq leaves. Do you know how much money Yao is bringing to the Rockets? He has global money power potential. I kind of hoping that Shaq stays in LA so that we can see a Kobe/Shaq vs Mcrady/Yao matchup. Would'nt that be awesome?
