MADD Endorses Bush/Chaney

Mothers Against Drunk Driving today endorsed the Bush/Cheney ticket. Said MADD spokesman, Marge Smith, "We really weren't worried about the 3 DUIs (one for Bush, two for Cheney). Nor were we concerned about Laura Bush's traffic safety record because the driver she killed was so long ago".

Like all Republicans, we don't expect them to lead by by example, as long as they talk the talk, it's okay with us".

Is that a low blow just like Anne Coulter? Sure it is.

That is hilarious, yet not funny. What a frickin joke MADD is. I got involved with them some years ago as a loved one died in a car accident, but I quickly severed my ties. They have little to do with "awareness" as they put it. What they are basically is a bunch of angry people looking out to see which politicians and cities can be the biggest social conservatives around. If you shut down bars earlier than you did, MADD loves it. Does anyone think shutting down bars at say 3am instead of 4am does a damn thing to stop drunk driving??? Of course not. MADD's secret agenda basically is to make it nearly impossible to drive drunk, which means make it nearly impossible to get drunk in the first place. They want drinking bans as best as they can, but barring that they are all for "near" beer and outright bans on alcohol in any place they can come up with a crazy argument to ban it. Banning a social behavior that some find questionable...hmm, sounds to me like this administration is right up MADD's alley. ASS-croft is surely behind all this...

Really just trying to illustrate how newsrags and party hacks like NewsMax and Anne Coulter operate with constant distortion to fit their agenda.

Regardles if its a joke or not. Anyone have an idea how much the top MADD honchos pay each other. I read an article about it (can't find it right now), but they do not miss any meals. Monster salaries and appearance fees.
