i really love the mets over 83 games this year. i see them winning close to 90 or maybe its just the fan in me talking. LOL, it just sux that we've been trying to keep up with atlanta for a decade and now it seems like we're gonna have to deal with the marlins too (hopefully not for another 10 years!!)

cant believe the mets passed on delgado, and of all teams he had to sign with a team in our division!!

pb&j.

There is no reason the Mets cant win over 83 games this season. They have a very solid starting rotation and a very, very good lineup. The only thing that can hold them back from winning 90 games is they have to face the Marlins, Braves, and Phillies many times. This Mets team is very good and will contend for the NL East Crown.

Is it sound money management to spend 20+ units (half at -130 or higher) on wagers that will pay out 8 months later if they win?

You maybe asking the wrong guy about money management. MC, I hope you've turned things around for yourself. GL.

One thing I do not understand at Pinnacle is....

They have the Mets as +234 to win the East, while they have the Marlins at +284 now to win it.

At the same time they have the Marlins total wins at 86.5 while thet Mets are only at 83....seems wrong?

The Astros have alot of problems, the biggest may be the health of Berkman. They have also lost Jeff Kent and Carlos Beltran and I dont think they have replaced either of them with a legit player. Can Clemens repeat?? Will Pettitte regain his old form?? Who will replace Wade Miller?? Have they improved their awful bullpen? So many questions!!

Under 85 has value.

The Metties already got ripped off signing Beltran. Do you really think they shouldve also been ripped off by Delgado & his scumball agent? Do they print C Notes with Richard Nixon on the front down in Shea's basement?

I don't see Oaktown falling below .500 so I like the over 79 plus I lean towards Milwaukee over 68.5 and BoSox under 95.5 and Houston under. My humble opinions. :digit:

CAPPER,

Like the RJ/PETEY bet. Very interesting. I think Pedro will get it done because he gets to go back to the NL and face weaker hitters in the 7-8-9 hole. Then you have double switches and such. Let's all keep an eye on it thruoughout the year.Should be interesting to see 2 guys coming back to their roots.

Have not seen you posting HOOP pix lately. Always enjoy yr. picks and insights.

I agree with the Yankees Over 103 pick. Just hate tieing money up for the entire season, for some reason it drives me crazy to look at a long term pending bet.

Pinnacle has already adjusted the lines...

Mets are now at 84.5
Astros are now 84

Hope you got in yesterday.

I think Seattle has the record of 118. Yankkes won 114 in 98. 110 is not out of reach this year, with that roster.

Lineup:

Jeter
Arod
Sheffield
Matsui
Giambi
Posada
Bernie
Tino
Womack

Rotation:

Johnson
Mussina
Pavano
Brown
Wright

Pen:

Rivera
Gordon
Rodriguez
Karsay
Stanton
Quantrill
