Mad Dog Picks

I have never posted my picks. I lurk on this site checking a few posts by others - not to follow their picks but to pick up ideas. I am terrible with Totals (down 16 units just this year), better with 1H/2H betting (up on W-L record but juiced to the losing side). After taking all of that into consideration, I finally broke to the upside last night with my early games before dropping back underwater with my later picks (damn VILL, KAN and KTY... but to be fair they did have some tough competition last night).

So the bottom line is I am doing ok with my side bets and am swearing off on the Totals and Half bets.

I will try to post my picks here for a while here and see what happens. One caveat, sometimes I make last minute picks that might be posted a few minutes after the games tips-off but I am not suggesting that anyone follow me.

Bad day to start out. I saw a lot of bad basketball tonight. Creighton was pitiful... Providence didn't make a FG in the last 4 mins of the game. Butler won but they had a difficult time making a FT at the end of the game making it closer than it should have been. In my one pending game, UCLA jumped out to a good start but then let USC go on a 40-18 run to end the 1H.

So, I'll end my first day down. My leans did better at 2-3 but I am going to eliminate reporting those games.. to much work.

I hope you guys did much better than me. I'll try to see what I can do tomorrow.

Ok, the forum had not allowed me to post for about 3 hours --- kept telling me I needed to wait 5 seconds and then told how many seconds I needed to wait which equaled about 4 3/4 hours. But, that's life.

I added a few picks that I am just now able to post but I am sure no one with give me hell when they see them below.

First two days posting: 3 - 11.

I have had some bad runs this year but thought I was seeing the light of day. On Tuesday I started 3-0, getting in me into the winning side of the ledger. From that point, I have a had a 4-18 run which is my worst this year. What is really unsetting is during my 3-11 run since I started posting, I have had SIX double digit losses. I am really handicapping these really bad or the gambling gods are telling me to just keep out of the forum. :>(

I don't see anything tomorrow but will try one more day, Saturday, before hanging up my posting spurs. I really feel like I am getting bitch-slapped here. Slapping-silly90))

Eveyone seems to looking for a VCU win. Both teams seem to be fairly equal. So I will go with the points
