Sorry about that I've been busy. This week is looking terrific IMO, some tricky lines here and there but I love this weekend for 1 major reason.

15 of the 16 games have Home Favourites. Being a Capper who leans towards the dogs, I am licking my lips here. Got some leans in the No, Was, SD, Dal, games just to name a few. My picks will be up in about an hour. I can't wait to see what plays you are looking at.

Alright Slim my 2 plays are as follows.

Washington -3.0
Cleveland +2.0

I have a Monday Play as well, but I'm not putting it up untill I put the write up on my own website. It's coming tomorrow night.

Here's a few writeups for those checking for this thread.

Arizona Cardinals at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:State><st1:place>Washington</st1:place></st1:State> Redskins -3.0<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
Anybody who knows me as a person or a handicapper knows that I love the Washington Redskins. I legitimately feel this team is good enough to get to the Super Bowl and win it. In order for them to do that they need to win games like this at home. <st1:State><st1:place>Washington</st1:place></st1:State> is perfectly suited to stop a team like the Cardinals. It’s no secret that <st1:State><st1:place>Arizona</st1:place></st1:State> lives and dies by their passing game. Although Boldin/Fitzgerald are undoubtedly the premier receiving tandem in the league, <st1:State><st1:place>Washington</st1:place></st1:State> has the personnel in the secondary to put a stop to them. Also <st1:City><st1:place>Taylor</st1:place></st1:City> is going to abuse Kurt Warner in the pocket all game and that’s going to force Warner into a few mistakes. On the flip side of the ball, I love <st1:State><st1:place>Washington</st1:place></st1:State> to pound Clinton Portis all game. Portis has the potential to go for 150+ in this game, and I don’t see how he won’t provided he gets the carries. In short <st1:State><st1:place>Washington</st1:place></st1:State> wins this game in convincing fashion here.

<o:p></o:p>
Mac Picks: <st1:State><st1:place>Washington</st1:place></st1:State> -3.0

<o:p>Cleveland Browns at <st1:City><st1:place>Baltimore</st1:place></st1:City> Ravens -2.0<o:p></o:p>
This game is a must win for <st1:City><st1:place>Cleveland</st1:place></st1:City>. I said this team is going to win the division and make the playoffs this year. That won’t be the case if they go 0-3. <st1:City><st1:place>Baltimore</st1:place></st1:City> is not a good team, their offense is lead by a rookie and they pose no threat through the air. Defensively they are a very good team and that’s going to be the only reason they contend in any games this year. I like <st1:City><st1:place>Cleveland</st1:place></st1:City> to blitz Flacco like crazy and force the rookie into a few mistakes. They will also load the box and negate any running game from the <st1:City><st1:place>Baltimore</st1:place></st1:City> offense. On the flipside of the ball, I like <st1:City><st1:place>Cleveland</st1:place></st1:City> to move the ball just enough and score just enough points to get the win here.
<o:p></o:p>
Mac Picks: <st1:City><st1:place>Cleveland</st1:place></st1:City> +2.0</o:p>

Mac, seriously disagree with Browns. This is a team which is ready to lose. Crennel is riding the rail right out of Cleveland and his players are sitting around watching and waiting.
Offensively, injuries to Steinbach (out), Lewis (ankle, not a 100%), Edwards (shoulder, not sure if he's a go), Stallworth (quad, huge waste of $$ never healthy), Anderson (post concussion sucking) cannot see them threatening Ravens defense, let alone scoring more than a few field goals.
Defensively, injuries to R Smith (achilles-IR done), S Jones (knee), McGinest (hamstring) cannot see how they will stack the box effectively and all Flacco will need is one score as Ravens Defense will score in this game.
This is always a tough game just believe Browns are not up to task of getting the road win or small cover. This pains me as I am a Browns fan going back 25 years, but reality says this is not a very good team right now.

Wish you all the luck this weekend

With all due respect. They played the BEST team in the NFL right now in Week 1. And week 2 was in a Thunderstorm. Remember last year during a game that had a Thunderstorm. The 1-15 Dolphins against the Steelers looked like a game between 2 even teams, even though the Steelers were really a much better team than the Dolphins.

People are already off Cleveland and it's a damn shame, because they are really going to surprise people this year.

Anyways though I appreciate your opinion.

Mac, Mac, Mac, and I will eat my words and start saving my $1000, but I think you are whipping a almost dead horse here. Like w8lifterguy, as I said before I have been a Browns fan for over 40 years. They are still a little too banged up to make their charge. Blitzing will do them no good as the Ravens, RUN thru their D-line eating up the clock. Your love of my Browns is going to make me pick the Ravens as one of my 3 picks today. Almost certainly the Under. Back in a little bit with some picks. GLTA!! ATLSLIM

Week 3 Monday Night Special<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:State><st1:place>New York</st1:place></st1:State> Jets at <st1:City><st1:place>San Diego</st1:place></st1:City> Chargers -9.0
This game is a COMPLETE mismatch. The Chargers are among the best 3 teams in the league. The Jets are in the bottom 10 of the league. The Chargers have a chip on their shoulder, and it’s going to be evident in primetime, in front of their amped up crowd. On offense I like the Chargers to have a heavy dose of run, sprinkled in with a few play actions against this Jets defense. On the flipside of the ball, I don’t see what Favre is going to be able to do against this San Diego D. San Diego’s corners are going to man up with the Jets wide outs, and that is going to force the Jets to have to go with Thomas Jones in this game. One stat that is ALARMING is that in 5 games last year against 3-4 defenses Thomas Jones has managed to gain only 285 yards on 94 carries for an average of 3.0 yards per carry. In those 5 games he also had 0 TD’s to boot. <st1:City><st1:place>San Diego</st1:place></st1:City> has no letdown this week, as they will not look to keep this one close. <st1:City><st1:place>San Diego</st1:place></st1:City> pulls away in the 3rd quarter and wins by double digits here.
