MVP - Malcolm Smith!
OK I know nobody really stood out but Malcom Smith?
Can we get a recount?

Someone hit's Manning and impedes his arm causing the ball to float up in the air like a wounded duck and Smith happens to be standing near where it flutters to earth. He catches the ball and runs through a sea of open space. No juking or dodging just catch and run and then it's .... come hear son your going to Disneyland.

It was obvious they had no idea who to crown MVP when 10 minutes after the game not a word about MVP was mentioned. No instant live MVP commercial.
I'm not lobbing for Russell Wilson just because I had a prop bet on him winning. Who lets financial gain influence the obvious?
I did think when nobody shines the QB is the only choice? How else can you explain Ben Roethlisberger winning in 2006?
This year Wilson only completed 18 of 25 for a 123 QBR. He only rushed 3 times for an 8.7 yd average. He only threw 2 TD passes while running out of pressure to end with 0 Ints and 0 Sacks.

I think the voters were so perplexed as to who was MVP Fox network said just grab somebody we have to present this trophy and get off the air.
That's when Malcolm was in the right place at the right time for the 2nd time.

I thought I had a chance with Harvin, but thought Wilson would get it after the 2nd TD pass

Harvin had two long runs on the first two drives, actually wound up the leading rusher with 45 yards, and the KO return for a TD

hardly MVP numbers in a typical year, but nobody stood out yesterday

maybe if Denver scored more often and had to KO more often he would have won. One KO and it was returned for a TD, I was thinking / hoping he would have a lot more return attempts and a few long returns

maybe Manning should have won MVP, for Seattle :)

the whole defense should have got it. that being said, smith did a hell of a lot more than return a pick for a TD. he was in on every play and played a superior game. i understand it's a hard job singling out someone, but he played a great game.
