It’s a simple yes or no question

I've got a simple yes or no question for YOU: have you stopped beating your wife during your drunken, incoherent rages? Oh, and, another one: guess what's a good method of discarding your next beer bottle, that is, what you should do with it?:think2:popcorn-eatinggif

So, If I sent my daughter (10 years old) to buy Cooking Wine or Cooking Sherry (a grocery item for cooking)... would she need an ID to buy those groceries?

So, what UP, Trends? Aren't you gonna elaborate on your brilliant scenario of the ID your 10 year old daughter would have to show in order to buy wine, followed by going out to vote?:pointer:Shush()*kth)(&^Loser!@#0w-thumbs!^Slapping-silly90))popcorn-eatinggifazzkick(&^:nohead::tongue2:

Don't try and change the subject, why would you use such an incredibly stupid, irrelevant example, and why are you trying to avoid conceding that the statement Twittler made was a lie?

ROTFLMAO!!!! I'M the one added those who are voting age? Like Twittler, you're a pathological liar, who lies even when your lies can be INSTANTLY exposed: I didn't bring it up, you lying SOS, YOU did, in post # 11, mentioning the ID your ten year old daughter would need to buy wine. Plus, what Dump said was a lie, and you can't squirm out of that fact, Porky.

As an example that ALMOST ANYONE who tries to buy alcohol or tobacco has to provide ID, doesnt matter if they are voting age or not

First of all, that's not true, secondly, it's not relevant. He didn't say ALMOST ANYONE who tries to buy alcohol or tobacco has to provide ID, he said you NEED ID to buy GROCERIES...are you unaware of the mass differences between those two statements? And, why did YOU bring up that incredibly stupid example of your 10 year daughter when she can't vote?

Is it the same thing as "Keeping my insurance, doctor or plan" If I liked them?

You're the clumsiest "deflector" I've ever seen: you did'nt answer the question: He didn't say ALMOST ANYONE who tries to buy alcohol or tobacco has to provide ID, he said you NEED ID to buy GROCERIES...are you unaware of the mass differences between those two statements? [h=1]White House can’t defend absurd Trump grocery ID claim, pretends he said something totally different[/h] [h=2]The dumbest cult of personality.[/h] Aaron Rupar Aug 1, 2018, 4:10 pm

During a speech in Florida on Tuesday evening, President Trump indicated he has no clue how people buy groceries.
While making a case for a nationwide voter ID law, Trump said, “You know, if you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card — you need ID.”

But as anybody who has been to a grocery store knows, you do not actually have to present a photo ID to buy groceries. Customers can use cash. And in many cases, even if they use a card, they will not be asked to show photo identification.

During the White House press briefing on Wednesday, ABC’s Cecilia Vega asked Press Secretary Sarah Sanders to explain Trump’s comments.
“When was the last time the president went to the grocery store?” Vega asked.
Sanders tried to move on as quickly as possible.
“I’m not sure — I’m not sure why that matters either,” she said.
“Well, because of what he said last night,” Vega followed up. “You go the grocery store, I go to the grocery store — I’ve never had to show an ID when I got to buy groceries.”

In an effort to defend Trump, Sanders resorted to putting words in his mouth, and ended up defending a statement completely different from what he actually said.

“Certainly if you go to a grocery store and you buy beer and wine, you’re certainly going to show your ID,” Sanders said — despite the fact that the words “beer” or “wine” were never uttered by Trump.
“Is that what the president who doesn’t drink meant?” Vega asked.
“He’s not saying every time he went in — he said when you go to the grocery store, I’m pretty sure that everybody in here who has been to a grocery store that has purchased beer or wine has had to show their ID,” Sanders said. “If they didn’t, then that’s probably a problem with the grocery store.”
Sanders’ comments are the latest instance of the White House simply refusing to acknowledge that Trump is capable of misspeaking. Perhaps most memorably, after Trump posted a tweet with an obvious typo in May 2017, then-Press Secretary Sean Spicer suggested that “covfefe” wasn’t a typo after all.
“The president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant,” Spicer said.

[h=3]Sarah Sanders insults journalists who dare ask about Trump’s irrational tweets[/h]

When Trump posted a Fox News-inspired tweet that contradicted the White House’s official position on a bill reauthorizing the the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) earlier this year, Sanders flatly denied that Trump’s tweets were contradictory, and attacked reporters who asked about it.

“I think that the premise of your question is completely ridiculous and shows the lack of knowledge that you have on this process,” Sanders said, in response to a question about the apparent contradiction from NBC’s Hallie Jackson.
And while Trump’s absurd comment about groceries may not seem like much, it’s worth noting that Preisdent George H.W. Bush was widely mocked in 1992 when he visited a grocery store during his reelection campaign and appeared unfamiliar with how supermarket scanners work.
As Judd Legum details, “Bush’s gaffe made the front page of the New York Times and was framed as a significant blow to his image.”

Kroger is one of the world’s largest grocery retailers in the United States. But does Kroger take checks? Yes.
Though Kroger’s check writing and processing policies are tricky. But we’ll show you how to navigate the process with no issues.
We also present information on using a credit or debit card and how to get cash back on any of these payment types.
In this Article:

  • [*=left]Kroger Check Writing Policy
    [*=left]Kroger Returned Check Policy
[*=left]Getting Cash Back from a Check

[*=left]How to Get Cash Back from a Debit or Credit Card
Kroger Check Writing Policy

Kroger accepts personal checks as a form of payment. When you pay with a check, the cashier will run the check through their system. In two to three business days, Kroger deposits the check into the bank.
So how does Kroger process checks? Does Kroger use Telecheck or any other third party check processing company? No. Kroger does not use a check processing company like Telecheck or Certegy to process personal checks.
When you pay with a check, you’ll need to provide a state-issued ID from the state where you are shopping or an adjoining state. First-time check writers have restrictions, which vary by store. Generally, first-time check writers are only allowed to write a check of up $150 and cannot get cash back. This limit is pretty standard across stores, although there are a few Kroger locations, mostly in California, that have a $250 limit and allow new check writers to get up to $20 cash back.
If you are a regular Kroger shopper and have an established relationship with your local store but have not been paying with checks, you can ask your store to grant you a higher limit as a new check writer. The store will need to call the customer relations department to have your higher limit approved.
Be aware that Kroger’s check writing system only goes back 90 days. Therefore, if you let more than 90 days go by without paying by check, your history will be lost, and you may have to start over as a first-time check writer. When we talked to the customer relations department about this rule, they recommended paying by check about once a month to ensure that your history won’t be lost.

If I've said it once, I've said it 100 times.....anyone that uses smileys to prove their point, doesn't have much of an argument.

I'm pretty sure Trumps point was dead on. Many things at a Grocery store you need ID for, just a fact.

Trends, it is absolutely comical how much time Dafinch has you spending on replies and bumping old threads. Not sure how you're missing the part where he's making you look like an obsessed douche? He's the worst person alive, next to Greenbacks, so just ignore him as he has you looking like a psychopath with way too much time on his hands.
