What if Luca blows out his back and misses the playoffs next year, or worse, the Lakers miss the playoffs?

I guess you'll be saying WAIT UNTIL 2028!!!

LOL

Ironically, if you based the trade on short term results……the Lakers still won the trade easily

Mavericks were in the finals less than a year ago with a similar roster and ended up the 10th seed . They are probably still in it if Luka is on their team . Kyrie may have never gotten injured given their roster construction

Yeah, this probably one of the worst trades in history.

?

We don’t have to wait to determine the Lakers won the trade, since it’s obvious to any non-retarded person that the Lakers won the trade

Even if all those things happened the Lakers won the trade

Im sure the whole city of Dallas chanting Fire Nico is because it was 50/50 trade LOL

@Bozzie you would think Greenbacks would learn how to make odds being a paid poster at a gambling forum?
Odds? you think he actually bets money????? come on man, he can't even keep straight gambling records.

I'd prefer he try writing his way outa a wet paper bag just for laughs...you can bet his education has hindered any advancements economically or accomplishments normal "everyday" people enjoy.

Fact is Greenbacks is functionally Illiterate and I'm not joking.

You're not a sports fan and this is the dumbest " take" of the day...

Yeah, moron, he only missed 32 games this year and left a playoff game because of a bad back.

You're flat retarded. The fact that you think a question is a 'take' is laugh until you cry funny.

YOU'RE NOT A SPORTS FAN!!!!

Tried so hard to backtrack too lol

What a dumb question to ask lol

There is no backtrack.

The fact that you think future events you are insisting will happen prove this is a win for the Lakers is funny.

And of course you don't have the critical thinking skills to understand that.

The Lakers lost to a 6 seed this year and lost to a 2 seed last year.

"EASILY!!"

Remember, smart people don't ask questions, nor do they revisit assumptions based on new information. Smart people just keep repeating "I am right, lol!!"

So immediate results determine the outcome of a trade?

Many acknowledged the Lakers wouldn't be able to compete until 2025-26 at the earliest.

Lakers opened a window for years to come without losing much and are in way better position long term than they were before the trade, and the Mavs mindlessly closed theirs without getting much in return

We shall see about Luka conditioning. Should be acknowledged he led the NBA in playoff minutes last season, didn't have major injuries, and the Mavs were awesome on defense

Hopefully Luka learns something from LeBron about taking care of his body

So I conclude with these words
the guy walks like he's 80 years old. I don't see his condition or his conditioning improving

And you respond with this conclusion
So immediate results determine the outcome of a trade?

Classic, feels like a political discussion now

I won't go liberal, I hope I'm wrong, I hope he becomes physically healthy

Lakers must be in 'championship shape' next season, JJ Redick says

Redick did not single out any player by name after L.A. was outscored 127-85 by Minnesota in the fourth quarter during the series, but it is widely known that one of the knocks on Luka Doncic on his way out after the Dallas Mavericks traded him was the 26-year-old star's struggles with weight and conditioning.

This is just classic

Yep...He love's a good backtrack or side argument as distraction

Since you have no critical thinking skills but a bunch of hubris, I'm going to teach you some.

In order to demonstrate the Lakers "won the trade" you are going to have to identify a measurement by which they have done so.
They can build a team around Luka is not a measurement, it is a goal. You are going to have to identify the quantifiable measurement and timeframe to demonstrate this.

As an example, this could be number of playoff wins, conference final wins/appearances, championship wins appearances and over which timeline.

So far, you haven't done this (because you're lacking in this area) and you can't because the Lakers were favored to win a series and lost. Pretending that is meaningless to an analysis of the trade shows you are a little linear thinker and probably should stop talking.

Finally, fact that you are blathering on that Dallas "probably" would have gone to the finals is embarrassing.

Still averaged 28 points playing with James to boot and yes he's been hurt
23/24 33 points a game.

You thinking you're on to something original or insightful here is comical aaand hopefully you realize he been with the Lakers a few months

This is funny shit.
