I'm hoping LSU can get it together the 2H to cover as well, but Locker and Polk are doing their best to live up to the hype surrounding their return.

The Tiger D and special teams need to step it up!~~:<<

LSU?

I totally agree with the name of this topic. What's up with this so-called SEC elite team anyway? I don't get it. If they are supposed to be the "elite of the most elite conference of all," WTF are they doing with just a 4-point lead over an 0-12 Pac-10 team? WHAT THE FUCK?

Could that mean that the best SEC teams can barely keep up with the worst team in the Pac-10? It sure looks like it's the truth this day.

I'm glad to see all this "best conference in the world" hype being sorted out on the field. Udub will be lucky if they win 4 games in conference this year. Good thing LSU doesn't play in the Pac-10. From the looks of it, they probably wouldn't win 5 games in the Pac-10. (Hey, then they could call it USC and the 10 dwarfs!) If by some chance Udub manages to pull this game out, LSU is DONE.

They'd better stick to the Furmans and Memphis States like the rest of their conference buddies so they can safely keep their lofty rank... next year anyway. Gotta give up trying to beat these 0-12 BCS opponents if they want to work the system right and make a BCS bowl. Keep that toughest conference schedule in the world looking like it really is the toughest! What a bitch it would be if that was dis-proven by a lowly 0-12 team!

Yes sir. Much more of this and nobody will believe they are the best conference with the toughest conference schedule anymore. This can ruin all that good hype they've been living on for years. Now every SEC team that might beat LSU can't claim that they beat an elite team if that elite team can't even beat the last place team in the worst BCS conference.

It's crystal clear to me why they play all these patsies. But (heh heh) even the best strategy designed to work the system isn't perfect. The problem is that they believe their own hype about the "worst BCS conference." Oooops. They walked right into that one!

Or maybe that 4-point lead will hold up and LSU dodges another bullet like they did several years ago when Oregon State almost beat the Tigers in their own stadium. Lucky for LSU that the Beavers kicker missed 3 PAT's in that game. (Whew) Maybe Udub will fade out like we think and get gassed. Run out of steam and let LSU off the hook. It's like they say, it's better to be lucky than good.

Don't mind me. I'm just pondering what I am seeing with my own eyes.

Need a score here for the Dawgs, but last year a lot was the emulation of Ty losingham and the 2nd half quitters.
