Leonard Fournette will not play in LSU’s bowl game. Will focus on pre-draft process.

Vagina? Smart move by him. Why risk a major injury in a meaningless bowl game?

Yeah, could you imagine half the Bama defense sitting out to focus on the draft

I would say it's quite different when you are not playing for the NC. If you know you're a top selection already, why risk it? I see a lot more players doing this in the near future. You can't blame him for not wanting to risk injury and lose millions of dollars. It's really not much different than players on the super bowl teams skipping the pro bowl.

It just stinks that he bails out on his coach, his teammates, the students, the fans, and his school that gave him a scholarship and supported him.
He has no honor.

LSU fan here. I'm not really offended by it and he has been hurt for a while now. Rather see what we have for 2017.

Yeah, unless you're in the playoffs then the bowl game is more or less preparing for next year. No need for him to play. As long as the defense shows up lsu will be okay.

Sure, but let's say next year you get into the 4 team playoff, and Guice decides to not play and instead get ready for the NFL draft... then what will you say?

SMH... lol

if this were a playoff game he would play, but it's not. Are his teammates going to hook him up with millions if he blows his knee out playing in a meaningless bowl game? Highly doubtful.

Smart move. Unless you have something to prove there is zero reason to play. His stock is seet.

Who gives a damn...those that don't get it or are pissed off have no clue. This bowl game means absolutely ZERO.

Good for him. Let him focus on his pay day, which is well deserved. Dude is a stud.

Not saying that I'm happy that he is not playing. But this is not that meaningful of a game, the playoffs would be a completely different story.

You guys make it sound like he's 100% and is just saying fuck it.

He's been battling a high ankle sprain for weeks. I have no problem with it and I doubt his teammates do either
