Everyone knows that the SEC leads the nation in having players kicked off their teams for numerous reasons, most of which are due to various crimes that these athletes have committed. Well LSU just contributed 4 more players to the growing SEC list. QB Anthony Jennings, DL Maquidius Bain, and DB Dwayne Thomas were all arrested for "unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling". Thomas was also charged with simple Burglary. IN another incident, DL Trey Lealaimatafao was booted off the team for particiapting in a bar fight earlier in the week. The Burglary was an attempt to recover items that were allegedly stolen from Jennings on 6/10. Sounds like O.J. in Vegas.
The loss of Jennings can really hurt LSU's already slim chances of a SEC Title. HE was their #1 starter, and as baqd as he was, he was still ahead of #2 QB Brandon Harris.
Now I understand that the South does not exactly lead the nation in educating their high school kids, but why is it that the bulk of the incidents that happen on a yearly basis seem to center on black kids who play for SEC Schools. Just how desperate has the SEC become? We know for a fact that they have always taken the "questionable" kids, a practice that the conference is starting to crackdown on, despite the objections of Nick Saban, but is it that bad?
