My question is this: is this the first time a legit "fix" claim could be made with ACORN doing their thing?

ACORN is not doing anything illegal with regard to the election process. You have been conned into believing that they are. That's the lock of the election. The only people that will be prosecuted will be temp workers that submitted falsified registrations and were fired and had their named turned into the autorities. As required by law, these false registrations are submitted to the election board. It's illegal to withhold them. None of them result in anyone being allowed to vote. All investigations will prove this fact (just as they did in 2004). Nonetheless, I'm seeing at least 1 Attorney General (Mike Cox R-Mich) who's more beholden to the lie than he is to the law. I suspect he won't bother putting on the charade after the election.

As I wrote in the post where I answered your questions, I have a standing offer to anyone that wants to accept it: If any of the numerous investigations into ACORN's voter registration efforts show that there is an intent to commit voter fraud, I'll not post in this forum for 60 days. If none of them do, whoever accepts the challenge agrees to not post. I've had no takers. There are at least 12 investigations underway. You've got at least 12 chances and still no one has the scrotum to accept.

If you are inclined to bet McCain to win the general, betting these state-by-state is certainly the better way to go because McCain has to win pretty ALL of those battlegrounds (OH, FL, VA, NC, MO) to even have a prayer of winning. Too bad you can't parlay them. Ohio +300, Florida +200, Virginia +400, NC +150, MO -110...that's 285 to 1. And he could win all of those and still lose if he loses PA, CO, IA, NM...for which he is a huge dog in each. If you examine the current state-by-state odds and what McCain needs to win he really should be about 400 to 1 to win.
