who says the Big East can't be competetive. Look for WV to beat Rutgers easily at home. If Pittsburgh beats Luisville (which could happen) then WV wins the Big East and is most likely Sugar bowl bound again.

SOUTH FLORIDA seems to be the team everybody forgets about.

THEY DEFEATED PITT .........QUITE EASILY.

They also allowed Rutgers to get away with a hard fought 22-20 win.........a game USF should have probably won.

I went to the South Florida/ WV game last year. I was very iimpressed with South Florida. It is pretty safe to say the Big East is five teams deep (Rut/Lou/WV/SF/Pitt). That makes them better than most any other conference except the SEC to me.

ACC, big 10, SEC, pac 10, big 12 all better conferences than the big east, although I do give the conference credit. Not near as bad as most thought it would be

Big East is 4th best conference in the nation IMO. Look at all the shit in the Big XII and ACC. Hell, the team that will probably win the ACC (Maryland) got smoked by West Virginia. Miami got smoked at Louisville. The ACC's top OOC win is BC needing OT to beat BYU at home. The ACC is just garbage this year. As for the Big XII, same story, no big OOC wins. Texas loses at home to Ohio St., Nebraska loses to USC, Oklahoma loses to Oregon, T Tech loses to TCU, T A&M almost loses to Army. Also there are a BUNCH of bad teams in the Big XII (Kansas, Kansas St., Iowa St., Colorado, Baylor). Conference's best OOC win might be Missouri beating Ohio.

I cannot argue with you too much, but I would give the slight lean to the big 12 and acc over the big east.

How many teams in the ACC are better than the top 5 in the Big East? Legitimate question for anyone.
