For those of you interested in a game analysis.......

I've reviewed the depth chart, considered a likely option style offense by UK, injuries and realized the effect that hype can play, but no matter who many different angles I take I still come to the same conclusion....Louisville will win this game.

Some people will remember the 2002 upset victory by Kentucky against a highly-touted Louisville program. Problem is, the problems that existed then, don't now. Louisville returned nearly everyone on both sides of the ball, while Kentucky is filling numerous holes with inexperienced players and in some cases true freshmen.

The Kentucky defense will not be able to limit the Louisville offense that can strike on the ground and through the air. On the flip side, I expect the Kentucky offense to actually confuse the Cardinal defense for a series or two, but it won't be enough to keep up on the scoreboard.

The Louisville defense will strengthen throughout the game, while the Kentucky squad will tire. Cardinals rack it up on the ground and through the air. U of L fans will get a chance to see Brian Brohm play early.

Louisville 41-17.

2 yrs ago, Kentucky took advantage of an inexperinced OL for Louisville. Last season, Louisville ran over, around, and between Kentucky. Look for more of the same this afternoon. Plus, Kentucky's secondary is banged up and not very good, anyway.
Should be a 3 or 4 TD victory for the Cards.

But can Cards stop anyone this year. Even with players back I'm not sure they can stop anyone. They gave up a ton of yards to some pretty pedestrian offenses last year. Not that Cats overwhelm either but they played pretty decent defense in the SEC last year and they have alot of those players back this year. I believe the SEC talent is far better than that of C-USA. Just a lot of points to be laying in rivalry game.

Also don't like the fact that UoL QB LeFlors looking over his shoulder because of Brahm. They could disrupt the flow of the game if they give the freshman some snaps or a couple series and he looks good. IMHO

From watching this game it looks like Louisville will be a very good 2nd half team. Something to remember. Nice call Pete.
