WHAT A FUCKING JOKE..

And Villanova a 2? They way the are playing..if they met in the east region, Louisville would beat them by double digits. Now they put hem in the same death bracket as Wichita ST and Michigan.....I'm sick..I had Louisville and Wichita st both going to the final four..

I also thought Mich st should be higher

and Duke and St. Louis (the A10 regular season champ where they got 6 bids) all in the same bracket in the Midwest......I don't know what the committee was thinking but that region is by far and away the hardest bracket.

AGREED..although if duke didnt get 2 home games, they'd get bounced..atlantic 10 is overrated..st louis has no chance.if they make louisville, they'll get killed

Everyone thing Louisville is so great because they just won their tourney. What? They beat Rutgers, Houston and UCONN. Not exactly three powerhouse programs this year.

What is that stat about Lousiville this year? They've beat one ranked team all year?

They aren't as good as people think they are. Certainly not close to last year's team.

True, very true. However, I wouldn't be too upset if I was Pitino. Yes 4 is a bit high for them, but teams like Mich and Duke are a favorable match-up for them IMO because Harrell and Mathiang will just dominate inside! Parker and hood will have to deal with Smith being pesky on the perimeter as well. Still think Ville gets to Wich St.

I'm sorry, I meant before their conference tourney. So, they beat Cincy. Let's not kid ourselves, UCONN is not that great.

What #2 seeds are better?

With Embid, Kansas is better. Louisville can't match Embid and Ellis' presence inside.
Michigan is the champion of the best CBB conference in America. I'd say they're better but we'll see.
I think Wisconsin is better but we'll see.
I think Syracuse is better but we'll see.
I think Duke is better as well.

Why are we so impressed because they beat Rutgers, Houston and UCONN? I'm not impressed.

I think you hit the nail on the head for 2 Reasons.......
1. Villanova a 2 and Creighton a 3 after they DESTROYED Nova twice?
2. Louisville did everything asked of them

Problem solved if Villanova was a 4 and Louisville a 2.......there is ZERO reasoning for not doing this. I know Creighton is sitting there with Louisville as well going WHAT???????

Vegas is impressed . They are the third choice to win it all behind Florida and Mich St.

Not based on "who " they beat or by beating them by 30-40 points, but by having one of the best game coaches ever, and a team that returns alot from last yr 's national champs..after watching their faces when the selection was announced, there are going to be some pissed off cardinals..Wisc isn't even a top 10 team so hiow did they get a 2 seed and Duke really hasn't beaten anyone either..

There are 20 coaches in this tourney on the same level as Pittino.

Wisconsin got a 2 seed because the respect the committee has for the Big 10. The committee showed you exactly what they think of Louisville's conference.

You're right, Duke hasn't beaten anyone. Let me provide a list:

Michigan
UCLA
Virginia
NCSU X3
Pittsburgh
Syracuse
UNC

Who has Louisville beaten?

SMU X2
UCONN X3
Cinci

I mean, you can't really compare who Duke beat to who Louisville beat. No contest.
