let's get a win tonight! another nova free pick. join me and lets make a wish for a win!
Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Mets (7/7/09)
Well our winning streak ended last night and it ended early as the Phils put up a 10 spot in the first inning on Cueto and the Reds. That is what happens when you pitch behind every hitter you face. Tonight we look to get back on track, and we head to New York to do it.
Manny is back from suspension in case you didn't hear. And if you didn't hear, where have you been? In his second game back, FOX was showing every one of his at bats like he was God. End line is, with his return the Dodgers are now what I believe to be one of the most dangerous teams in baseball.
When Manny is in the line up, the Dodgers are a staggering 22-8. Not bad right? Clayton Kershaw goes tonight for the Dodgers. Kershaw (5-5, 3.49 ERA) has allowed just two runs in his last four starts -- all Dodger wins -- while striking out 26 in 23 2/3 innings. Kershaw will look for a win against the Mets. In his only start against them he lasted just 3 2/3 innings in his only start against New York, giving up four runs and five hits in a 9-5 win on May 30, 2008.
Things don't get better for the Mets just because they are home tonight.
I am on the Dodgers and Manny tonight.
