Ok this is a play that fits my total system again like was@phi on monday perfectly. Reason 1 is that we have 2 teams coming off of 2 days off. This factor causes a few advantages for unders 1 bull pens are well rested and the closers and best relievers will be available. Next time off has a negative effect on hitters, baseball players are creatures of habit and when they don't swing for a few days and you have 2 guys with great stuff its a real struggle for some hitters to get back into a groove. RYU has avg 6.2ip his last 5 rd starts and and kuroda 7.1. One of my qualifications for an under is to avg 6ip last 5 starts at least. Another qualification is pens haven't thrown more than 1.2ip the previous day these pens have thrown zero ip last 2 days..
Non system factors. Kuroda for whatever reason the past 2 years has been nearly unhittable during day games. The yankees have never seen RYU before not 1 man in their lineup has ever faced him so coming off 2 off days to face a guy they have never seen is a tough task. Texeira and Youk are out again for a while. Leaving their only true power threats coming from the left side facing a lefty that they have never seen. This is game 1 of a doubleheader so we may have some key offensive players out - we may not but this doesn't really matter.
This is another one of those totals that I love and rings every bell in my totals system!
