Something to watch for: Matt Cain had a horrific start to the season but he has been showing promising signs of coming together. I believe he will start to thrive at home and in other pitcher friendly parks as he finds his groove. And to our benefit he will be on reduced lines due to his struggles.
Looks like he is going to be opening at -140 tomorrow at home against an anemic padres offense. Its time for Cain to get back to his usual dominance. I think he struggled early locating secondary pitches and had to rely heavily on his fastball. But now his slider and curve are snapping like old times and workin in his home field is even better as it suits his style of pitching greatly.
