There's a ton of useful information on this board every day, so I figured I'd share this link I just found. Maybe it's widely known, but I had never seen it. It shows VERY detailed data about lots of cities, including employment numbers, housing prices, weather, crime, schools, and anything else you can think of.

I checked a few places I used to live, and it all looks like good data.
