Looking for vacation area(house on the beach)

Matt, how much are you looking to spend? Dewey and Bethany Beach, Delaware are too great spots. Some smaller houses on the beach but also a lot of bigger pricier ones.

$200 a night seems about right, can go higher though.

In M:thumbsup: arch , that is the start of Spring break. It starts the 9th. The rooms are hard to find. The breakers rent them a year ahead of time. Feb isn't too bad. The snowbirds come down there in Jan Feb &March and rent by the month. You can get something 40 yards from the Gulf and the water for 2100.00 month or 200 a day. You can also get something on one of the side streets one block away from the water and beach for a little less. Temps are usually in the 70's and 80's that time of year if you are lucky.

i live here in st.augustine, fl (nation's oldest city). This place is on the bayfront. Pretty solid IMHO.

Might want to look at the Outer Banks in North Carolina as well.
