I would like to hear your top holdings Dawoofdaddy....interested in what you are investing in today.

Also interested in your current thoughts on Silver. I bought into 2 of your recomendations a few months back. SSRI and SLW, both have had ups and downs since i bought in, but overall they are up for my holding period. Are you still in Silver Stocks? SLW just released pretty decent earning numbers. Are you still holding these stocks yourself?

thanks, Tamer

SSRI is my top holding and I am still holding SLW.

Until you read a sell post about those 2 stocks, hold what you have and/or keep accumulating until you have the amount you desire.

If I could only own one stock, SSRI would be my choice.

Thanks for the response. I am happy with my return in both right now, so will watch them closely for a bit longer.

What are your other top holdings? I recently bought a few shares of Ford at the 7.60 range and Nortel at 2.15. These are more so gambling positions. My personal top holding is NWSB which is pretty conservative with a nice dividend. Outside of a few others, its mainly mutual funds for me. But i am interested in a few more individual stocks.

Thanks,Tamer

This morning SSRI is trading at a new all-time high price.

$30 should just be around the corner.

SSRI traded above 30 today....another all-time high.

Cubs, I have no opinion about the stock you posted, as I dont trade penny stocks.

Good luck if you buy/bought it.

Well forget about 30, it sailed thru 31 today.

I hope this continues but its a fast run up. Do you see a pullback soon?

SLW is slowly plugging away too. Thanks for the picks.

Woof what are your uranium stocks?

Mick, im in a few dozen different uranium stocks.

Honestly, Im not going to list a bunch of uranium stocks, for I have to remember to post when I sell and/or add to plays. Im pretty sure I posted a bunch of them in various political forum threads a couple years ago.

I rotated out of ccj months ago and added to other existing uranium positions and/or bought other smaller uranium companies.

Also, too many nitpickers and bashers around here when something goes down eventhough most of those types dont have 2 pennies to rub together.

Line Tamer, silver is in a long term bull market. Before this bull market ends, stocks like ssri and other precious metals stocks will be similar to 1990s internet mania...multiples higher than present levels. We are quite a distance in both price and time horizon from that type of hysteria.

Falls, good luck with SIL, but be warned its been a laggard since this bull market started.

Does George Soros still own his position? At one time he owned a large portion of the shares.

SIL will probably rise as the bull becomes a mania, but most likely it will continue underperforming the sector leaders.

The "news" has been that most of their mining assets are located in not-so-friendly nations and thus the nationalization of assets risk is higher than other companies mining assets.

I dont own SIL, but good luck since all of us owning anything related to this sector have been and will continue earning profits.

Usually I avoid laggards but thats just my personal investing choice. When an entire sector goes into complete bull mode, even the laggards are also bought by some investors and funds.
