Draco is right - their are only a couple of software companies worth talking to, the rest are too small or just cowboys.

Same for infrastructure - there are probably only a maximum of two outfits to talk to with regards hosting etc.

Its a minefield - good luck!

Email me if you do want to talk it through.

I sent him to Johnny at INET.

stucko,, just be prepared...
don't type the exactly information
at your database, just put the numbers
and try to do your own personal database
outside from your network (laptop)...
or, your information will be copied, by the software house...

what? you rather I sent him to Unified?

forgetaboutit, I gave him a enough options to let him know where to start. IQL and INET.

The guy will make up his own mind, but as WAW said there are only a few players down here and rather you like it or not INET is one of them.

With as hard as it is to get customers these days as a startup book, couldn't he just run it with scraps of paper like they used to do in the old days???

IMHO:

I suppose it all depends what kind of book he is going to run.

If he recons it is going to be big and have plenty of post-up and wants an OK casino I guess he should look at INET or IQL.

DGS might be good if he is going to be a small/medium credit book and does not care about having a good casino.

At least with these 3 providers he will get 1/2 decent support.

All of them will be a pain in the ass in some way though!

I've always just spoken to Trip or Graeme. If not an affiliate program, you should have contacted them direct and I'm sure they would have given you a commission of some kind. It would not have really been my first choice, but is ok depending on the budget you have to work with.
