Nice post Will, you know your way around a web-site. So, He's Vivid lost, and was the last to finish.... I guess it still is a FIX.... LMAO.. or will this horse be interpreted as a one time "wonder"... Dont you SEE, NOTHING IS A GUARANTEE... I bet my horse again, and LOST.. So what, whats the big deal??? Am I here crying FIX, the favorite ran 3rd, so I am guessing the 2 winners were DOPED. See how rediculous all this speculation is...... I won on this horse near 3 weeks ago, and havent gone through nothing but SHIT because of that, now he runs again, and I lost. I will tell you all something now, OFF_SHORE IS NOT THE WAY TO GO. IF YOU CANT BE THERE FOR A HORSE YOU LIKE, DONT BOTHER BETTING, 'CAUSE IF YOU WIN, YOU ARE A CHEATER..........IF YOU LOSE, YOU ARE ONE OF THE HUNDREDS THAT JUST ACCEPT THE LOSS. I guess this goes to prove that there are "no GUARENTEES" in horses... I know some of you wished he won, but bottom line is: I bet a first timer, he won,, and I DID NOT GET PAID..... GO FIGURE THAT INTO ALL YOUR CALCULATIONS... I BET A HOT HORSE IN A SHIT FIELD TO WIN... THAT ="NO PAY".... NOW THE BOOKS DONT TAKE MY ACTION .. AND I LOSE..GO FIGURE.... tHIS WHOLE OFF-SHORE INDUSTRY IS A "FIX" IN ITSELF

No fgorshin, You are wrong. As in all things, there is good and bad. There are plenty of good offshore books. Plenty of them. If there were not, then we would not be playing offshore. None of us.

Just because one mother murders her children, does not mean all mothers are evil.

Good luck

Footnotes
ASBURY LANE lagged back along the rail, angled out in the lane, responded readily when asked, rallied, gained the lead late and under pressure proved best. HEDSTARTMINER vied for the lead along the three path, shook loose nearing the quarter pole, showed the way, was hooked late and then finished well. BLUSHING FRISCO bumped with POUR LIL DEVIL at the start, was well placed along the three path on the turn, drifted in some bothering COWPET BAY slightly in upper stretch, lodged a bid and then weakened. STORMCATS GRANDSON vied for the lead along the four path, chased in the lane and weakened. COWPET BAY was unhurried early, gained ground on the turn, angled in for the drive, checked briefly when BLUSHING FRISCO drifted in slightly in upper stretch, recovered, lodged a bid inside of the latter and then took up sharply at the sixteenth pole. BUDDY PUDDY lagged back and then lacked a rally. JAHMAN three path while well placed early and tired. POUR LIL DEVIL bumped at the start by BLUSHING FRISCO and then was outrun. HE'S VIVID four path on the turn, was done early. A stewards inquiry was posted concerning the stretch run, resulted in no change in the order of finish.

Good luck

Once again General, you post nicely, but why am I wrong on the fact that if I win, I dont get paid?? I KNOW there are good "books" out there, those are not the ones I question. I know you cannot take sides, but LOOK AT THE FACTS........ this is PURE WRONGDOING on the "bad" books parts. AM I INSANE??? Your insight is greatfully appreciated......

I take sides day in and day out. I can form my own opinions. I'm a big boy.

I think every single book should have paid you.

fgorshin - not having had the chance to actually watch the race there is not a lot I can say. Nice 10 to 1 shot got the rail waited for an openeing, went for it and won driving. He's Vivid looked to be outclassed, which was to be expected moving up in class, and at five and half furlongs, still a sprint, but not the four and half he won at 3 weeks ago..

I am on one side of this situation, you dont have to agree, or disagree... I just don't want the other people that bet off-shore to have to deal with this STONEWALLING like I have, since I do believe that the average bettor off-shore is just the average "Joe-Shmo", like me........ just trying to have fun......likes the technology the computer brings, and heaven forbid, may know a few things about his/her sport!!! That is my point........bettors BEWARE..... nothing more DISSATISFYING as winning a bet, figuring your winnings, and finding out you ARE NOT GETTING PAID.. Like putting a deposit on your wedding, and finding out the reception hall goes out of buisiness a week before the BIG day...... see what I mean?????

I understand. We will get along fine i think. I must be honest though. I do feel that their were underlying circumstances with the wagering on that race. I have no idea to what extent and I'll be damned if I call you a cheater without proof, therefore I conclude that you should have been paid.

I thank you again General, for not calling me a cheater on my 1st race of the year. I learned to accept that understandably. I know it is hard to understand "why" i did what I did on the first race. To a sensible person as yourself, I know it just doesn't make much sense. Sit in this saddle.... I was co-owner of this horse... thats it.. I liked his chances with the field we were able to enter... 1st try to enter was filled, we got in on a scratch.... so of course I wanted to bet MY horse...... but I was out of town on business...... so we(my 2 friends and I) set accounts to bet when we were doing things in our REAL lives. We had no idea what the horse would pay, but we did like his chances.. We brought him to FL because we live near. Our books off shore supported our track, and yes, that was one of the reasons why we bet extensively. It was do or die... and we DO. NOW WE DONT GET PAID>>>> GET IT... THATS THE TRUTH.... Ther is no "wonder" behind this horse, and we may stable a few more prospects.... SILENT PARTNERS...... but who knows???? Hell, I LOVE HORSES.... ANY GOOD HORSEMAN WILL TELL YOU THE SAME. If a "book" accepts a bet, maybe they should know what they are dealing with. I personally took action.... but found my way out of it.......but then again, I NEVER booked horses, because the odds would burry me, if a winner hit. That is why I do not feel sorry 4 "the books" in this situation. Call me Greedy???? I got LUCKY!! I just want the other posters to know whats going on..... These clowns wont hurt me in the long run,, nor will I hurt them, but HORSE BETTORS BEWARE.......PAYOUT IS NOW AN 'OPTION'

Once again JIMFIESTSUX doesnt know what he is talking about. Last november I bet a first time starter offshore by the name of shamrocks Appeal. I bet about 6000 on her to win, and exotics. She lost and ran third. She went off at 6-1 I would of made a nice little score. I did not cry or get my accounts credited. The horse ran today at Finger Lakes In the third race, went off as the favorite and won by 10 lengths. The reason JIMMY, this horse went off as the favorite is because people saw that she ran third. The reason I bet her offshore is because I knew she had a little talent and could win first time out and I could make a little money. The same reason hes vivid was bet offshore. Thats not scamming or being a theif. But its ok to loose on a first time starter right JIMMY.
