this is the best defense Belicheck has had in many years. they are a very good defense and with Revis and Talib they have fixed their prior terrible secondary. no giving up big plays. Brady has that look in his eyes. the coach and QB know their time is winding down and they want another trophy bad. the window is closing.

Baltimore does have playoff magic and beat NE in the playoffs before on the road. this team just defeated a short handed and mediocre Pittsburgh team. that is also the biggest rivalry in the league. will they be up for NE that much and will NE present a much bigger test on the road??? Belichek knows he has to stop the run and he is a master of it. against that secondary, i don't think Flacco goes hog wild, although his playoff resume is staggering. i think NE takes this one and covers the points. that's my pick. would i be shocked if Baltimore won???? no. but i just love NE in this spot. beware of hall of fame coaches and QB's who are still on their game, but realize that time is running out on them.

but Pats havent won anything since they cheated back in the early 2000s......

Ravens should be able to keep it close. They know how to beat Pats. Stop the run, pressure Brady and run the ball.

Should be a good game. I expect we'll see some points scored and NE winning by 4.

they may not have won "anything" in terms of SB's, but they have done fine in divisionals recently…been crushing teams in this spot lately, actually

and I lean Pats and will be on them, but I disagree w this angle that after a big win over a rival, that any team will not get up for its next playoff game…this isn't the regular season. this "let down after a big win" angle absolutely does not apply here...

no doubt the ravens will have a tough time up against that CB pairing of Mike Haynes and Aqib Talib

Teams that won as a division dog in the wildcard round are 1-14 SU & 3-12 ATS in the divisional round vs teams off a bye........take Patriots

There will always be trends & systems on each side........I like Pats tho

Are you saying that it hasn't happened in 10 years, that its worthless?

There are tons of systems that don't show up for many years, but when they do, they win.........
