This is how I predict the Top 5 comes out in tomorrow's poll:
1. Alabama
2. Texas
3. Penn State
4. USC
5. Oklahoma
But those rankings mean nothing right now. All that matters is getting one of the top 2 spots in that final pre-bowl BCS ranking. Other than some possibly short-lived bragging rights there's no benefit to being No. 1 in the middle of October.
i like alabama at #1 and to stay number all the way through the preseason polls of 2009 and never lose their position

who is gonna beat alabama, please someone tell me lol...to be honest the rest of their schedule is not that tough. the best team on their schedule as far as record goes is lsu. and i feel good about that game
How did you feel about Louisiana-Monroe before that game was played last season?
The point is you can't always predict a win or loss by looking at the schedule. The games must be played and then you find out how a team fares given all the particular circumstances.
All I know is they are damn lucky they aren't gonna have to face what looks like a pissed off Florida team.. at least not until the SEC championship, if they both get there.
