The marketing for this classic Luney Tunes film is steady, with all the cartoon networks showing the trailer over and over again each morning. Kids will come out for this. Box Office Report is predicting 16 million. I pretty close with him. It won't show up on the chart until Friday, just like Brother Bear did. I'm taking the following at Intertops:

14 million to 24.9 million +130

Master and Commander is getting fantastic reviews. Box Office Report is predicting 29 million, and Russel Crowe fans are starving for one of his films since they've been waiting for almost 2 years. Pirates Of The Caribbean has made this genre more popular... I taking the following bet at Intertops because it has great value:

29 million or more +200

and then to cover my butt I'm betting a small amount on 23.5 and over at wsex.

heh I didn't research it at all but I took the under. Have no idea but it would seem to me that kids nowadays won't be as interested in cartoon caracters that are decades old. If 15 is what they're expecting though it could easily go over...

the stock is trading at 48 but it's fallen 4 bucks recently.

well maybe I should have done a bit of research on this before plunking my money down... they seem to be taking a Mummy slant with their marketing, as the movie is apparently an adventure as one of the posters says "the Adventure" at the top and prominently features Brendan Fraiser and Daffy Duck.... not too enamored with this play anymore, as kids might not be big fans of Loony Toons they are fans of the Mummy.
