Has anyone done research?? I would say this commission and the bond are not real. It is pretty obvious. If any poster speaks spanish, cant a call be put in to find the agency? I am betting it was all made up to build trust. Bond????? Do other countries outside of the U.S. even use these things. I would think maybe some, but Panama. If so it would be a bank. Just a trick to make you feel comfortable about sending money I guess.

Good post, Red, I think it's now time to do the 60 minutes thing, depending on what Rose says Monday. I'm tired of the lack of response to emails. This is sickening.

Although this whole Panama situation is terrible, I don't think adverse publicity is a good thing for us online gamblers, especially those of us in the US. If a big time news show such as 60 minutes gets does anything negative about online gamblin, it will just fuel the anit-gambling zealots. It may help win the battle, but will hurt winning the war.

well hopefully 60 minutes would do a fair piece and talk about how most books are fine.
just this panama gaming comission is a joke.

Acosta is 100% right. No matter how "fair" any TV coverage is, it still is coverage and right now the best thing for everyone is if the industry keeps its laundry in house and acts like we all get along. We may not get along and we may have some problems, but the minute any problem gets out it becomes another cause for some politician. No good news can come out of this because it is an election year, the business and money is made in other countries, and the people that get enjoyment and/or winnings out of it are thought of as scofflaws by the current political climate. No news is very much good news for us all.

I talked to Liz Rose this morning. I guess she is back from her "vacation." Anyways, she called over @ betpanam and I got an email very promptly from Bill Walker. He said his customer service dept. thought that they had sent me a check. He says he is cutting a check for me for my $1,000 (which I lost over the weekend). He said they would send it out today or tomorrow morning. Well, that's one down and thousands more to go. I hope everyone gets paid.
