Over the next few weeks we're going to move the Live Lines system from the current Linux (aka hacked Atari box) to a real Linux box.
RX techie, Edgar, has done a great job setting this box up - we'll have about quadruple the memory, a significant increase in CPU, and more expansion room. In addition, I've been doing a HUGE refactoring of the codebase to make the lines server a highly threaded system (to leverage the new capabilities).
Anywho, long story short - we will have a more robust system (once the bugs are sorted out) and we have more power for cool features.
I've added Arena on my dev box as a POC (proof of concept) for Pinnacle's Arena lines.
My question is : are Arena lines on the RX Lives Lines something that the RX community will utilize?
If not, there is no sense wasting time and resources that could be dedicated to other important capping functionality.
If you choose 'no', then any suggestions for alternative functionality would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
-Lander
