I appreciate all of your efforts and you have done a great job with this program, but I guess i am missing something, why is it better to have the lines on two pages rather than 1? I play with most of the books you have listed and now have to go look at two different pages, where is before I could just scan one page for the best line?
I can see where you're coming from. I've discussed this with Ken, some of the best gamblers in the world, and a few books. Our problem is that we're growing ... either we'd have to scroll across the page, or we need two pages. We've heard very similiar responses from the Pro's - "we love that you have some non-Don Best books" (like Canbet, BlueGrass, etc ..). These guys already have Don Best which is seconds faster & a stable product (since it's been out there for years).
I would think the best solution would be to be able to select the books that you want. I am not bitching but I think you took a step backward with this latest change.
It's very/very fast for the amount of data we need to pull, store and deliver .. allowing customizing while applealing, will impact performance (and make us more susceptible to attacks). Right now we have one way in, and it gives a pre-generated page in return. This change would require building a different page for each user (potentially).
Also, would like to be able to see the opening number so you can see how far the line has moved.
Great suggestion. I'll need to talk with Ken about getting this. CRIS seems to be the unanimous choice, but I do not know our relationship with them (it takes a time commitment from each book you see). I, personally, have no contacts with CRIS (other than the nickel they're up on me
)
Thanks, keep up the good work
Thanks TS, but really 90% of the progress we've made is a direct result of what posters have suggested. Yourself, Bart, Pat, JJ, ATX, just to name a few - have really been the reason it's gotten better (trust me, release .01 was UGLY - just ask Rio
).
GL this weekend.
